  1. I really enjoyed reading this! Thanks Cassandra. It’s not easy distilling the events, large and small, of a day like that into a single account. I especially enjoyed the comments about roles of Teazers and Riders and the way the spirit overcomes them. Too true. I think many feel bound to keep quiet about that for all sorts of reasons which makes it hard to compare notes even with others of your kind but I now feel that, on the whole, it’s better discussed so we know we’re not alone but part of something bigger, deeper, and older. Major congrats to Kevin from me too. I think he’s a tremendous addition to the team. The right man in the right place at the right time. I thought the procession looked a little odd in daylight. Now I know why! 🙂 Ah, these things happen. What an event though! Congratulations to all involved for making this such a huge success. It’s obviously very welcome and much needed. I’m so jealous (but in a good way 🙂 ) that I can’t attend but love seeing it all on here so thank you too to John, Kevin and Keiran for being the eyes and ears of the enthusiastic supporters out in cyberland too. Here’s to next year!

    • Thank you for your wonderful feedback Chris. I did ponder on whether to write about the ‘overlooking’, but then I thought, it’s not something that everyone can achieve and it’s about time folks understood what it’s about a little more.

I’m glad I was able to make the day come alive for you more with my writings and sharing the images. You’ll be pleased to know that there are definite plans afoot to have live-streaming set up next year for all those who are housebound or abroad. 🙂
